Amazon’s New Biggest Series Has People Binging the Entire Season in Just One Night
Move over Bridgerton and The Gilded Age. A new historical romance has stormed our screens, and we love it!
Are you ready for an epic tale of true love, high adventure, regicidal maniacs, deadpan heroism, devious intrigues, swashbuckling swordfights, a soupçon of magical realism, and oodles of yearning, banter, and undeniable chemistry? Of course, you are. Welcome to My Lady Jane.
And it delivers!
Jane and Guildford take the stage as the classic enemies-to-lovers trope who are forced to marry by their parents and society. However, there are some serious plot twists, and it’s insanely hilarious and romantic.
Show Description: Gird your loins for the tragic tale of Lady Jane Grey, the young Tudor noblewoman who was Queen of England for nine days and then beheaded back in good ol’ 1553. Actually… f*ck that. We’re retelling history the way it should have happened: the damsel in distress saves herself. This is an epic tale of true love and high adventure set in an alt-universe of action, history, fantasy, comedy, romance, and rompy-pompy. Buckle up.
This is not the type of show you watch with your parents. There are a lot of steamy and some pretty cringy sex scenes as well. Be Warned!
